First up — meet Karolina from Lithuania 🇱🇹 Also known as The Baltic Sister, she’s bold, joyful, and carries a beautiful mission close to her heart. Get to know her below 💛

1. Where are you from, and what inspired you to join Miss & Mrs Baltics 2025? I’m from Lithuania 🇱🇹❤️ Funnily enough, I was inspired by the name of the contest! My social media followers call me The Baltic Sister, so I thought it would be a great idea to participate. And of course… I love beauty and aesthetics ✨

2. What is one cause, value, or mission you deeply care about — and why? I wish we all had the same opportunity to live happily. No child should grow up lonely. No person should give up the idea of having a simple cup of coffee because they can’t enter a café with their wheelchair. As a mother of a child with disabilities, I see how many unnecessary obstacles exist for people who just want to live with dignity and joy.

3. If you could share one message / reminder / lesson / piece of advice with every woman in the world, what would it be?
 It’s completely okay to have so-called “imperfections.” I have many — and I love them. They make me me. Unique. Extraordinary. And that’s something worth celebrating.

4. What do you hope to gain or learn during this experience? Stage confidence, a powerful walk, and amazing communication skills. I hope this contest will inspire me to do even more good for society.

5. How would your friends describe you in three words? Funny. Tender. Caring.

6. What is one thing people would be surprised to learn about you? I once memorized 1,000 digits of the number Pi! 😄

7. What does beauty mean to you — beyond appearances? Beauty means a lot to me. Maybe my mother, who is a painter, passed this passion on to me. To me, beauty is joy, playfulness, and a kind of shelter - something to return to when life feels a little too heavy.

To make it possible for us to be seen, heard, and respected.

🇪🇪 Marie Reisik fought for women’s political rights in Estonia, becoming the only woman in the first Estonian parliament and launching the country’s first women’s journal.

🇱🇻 Vaira Vīķe-Freiberga shattered the glass ceiling as the first female president of Latvia — leading the country into the EU and NATO, and showing the world what Baltic leadership looks like.

🇱🇹 Ona Mašiotienė changed the future of Lithuanian girls by building the first Lithuanian-language girls’ school and founding the nation’s first women’s rights organization.

These are the women who walked before us.
